Crystal Sands Sales Improve in 2019
The Destin real estate market saw continued improvement in 2019. Destin Gulf front condos sold in the first half of 2019 had a 10% increase in average price compared to the first half of 2018 and were on the market 40 days less.
Crystal Sands units sold in the first half of 2019 had a 7% increase in average price and 4% increase in price per square foot – $20 more per square foot. Units sold at 98% of list price and in only 4 days on average.
THE ABBOTTS AND CRYSTAL SANDS
Nathan and Amanda Abbott’s father and uncle, Steve and Bill Abbott, were the original sales team for Crystal Sands. In 1995, the real estate market was hot and unit 106B was the last unit available during pre-construction sales. Steve Abbott scooped it up and it is now part of the Abbott family trust.
