Crystal Sands Sales Improve in 2018

The Destin real estate market saw continued improvement in 2018. Destin Gulf front condos and townhomes sold in 2018 had a 3% increase in price per square foot compared to 2017 and were on the market 66 days less.

Crystal Sands units sold in 2018 had a 13% increase in average price and 3% increase in price per square foot – $16 more per square foot. Units sold at 97% of list price versus 90% and in only 28 days on average.



The Nathan Abbott Team represented the seller and buyer of unit 301B, which sold in only 2 days and at 97% list price!


Nathan and Amanda Abbott’s father and uncle, Steve and Bill Abbott, were the original sales team for Crystal Sands. In 1995, the real estate market was hot and unit 106B was the last unit available during pre-construction sales. Steve Abbott scooped it up and it is now part of the Abbott family trust.
