As of now, our local beaches still look amazing. I enjoyed our white sand beaches and crystal clear water over the weekend.  ResortQuest is taking pictures of the beaches daily.  These photos can be found at: http://www.resortquestnwfl.com/beach-photos.htm.

We understand everyone’s fears and we appreciate your prayers.  The NW Florida Panhandle, nicknamed the “Emerald Coast,” provides many beautiful memories and brings pleasure to so many families.  The upcoming months may be challenging, but our community is prepared to do what it takes to restore our beautiful beaches if they are damaged.  This is a time for us all to group together and help support the area we all love so dearly.

We realize that several of you have your vacation plans and real estate purchasing plans on hold.

*    For those of you planning vacations, consider enjoying some of the many activities in our area…golfing, shopping, hiking, paddle boarding, bike riding, dining, canoeing, touring spring fed rivers, fresh water fishing, and much more. I encourage you to visit.  Contact me for information on rental discounts.

*    For those of you who may have your real estate purchases on hold due to the situation in the Gulf, please send me an e-mail so that I can support my case with BP. If you have been looking for a long term investment for the future, now may be a perfect opportunity to find an incredible deal.

All of our beaches are still open and I will make sure to update you if they are closed.  There are booms laid out in Destin’s East Pass to protect our bays and bayous. It is still a great time to go on a boat ride and discover parts of the Florida Panhandle that you may have never visited.

As always, thank you for supporting our area and loving it like we do. If we can ever be of any service, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
