Memorial Day weekend is always packed full of fun events on Florida’s beautiful Emerald Coast. One symbolic event that will honor our wounded veterans takes place at our very own Gulf Place on 30A. Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame legend, Gregg Allman, will perform on The Green at Gulf Place.
In honor of Memorial Day, Gulf Place will recognize the nation’s military heroes, and donate a portion of the event proceeds to the Special Operation Warrior Foundation. SOWF supports the families of fallen and wounded United States special operations forces personnel through full scholarship grants and immediate financial assistance.
The concert is expected to sell out and draw at least 4,500 visitors to Santa Rosa Beach. A variety of opening acts will open the stage at 4:30 pm and Gregg Allman will perform at 7:30 pm.
