St. Patrick’s Day Extravaganza at McGuire’s

The most popular spot in Destin for St. Patrick’s Day will, undoubtedly, be McGuire’s Irish Pub. The Pub celebrates all things green throughout the year, but will also celebrate the special day with a St. Patrick’s Day Extravaganza, starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 17. Special entertainment is scheduled for throughout the day.

Irish Grogg March at HarborWalk Village

HarborWalk Village is celebrating with an Irish Grogg March. Think pub crawl with specialty drinks. HarborWalk Village’s bars and restaurants in Destin, FL will feature lucky drink specials beginning at 6 p.m., March 17. Tickets can be purchased at www.eventbrite.com or on the day of the event. The ticket fees will benefit one of our favorite charities, the Gulfarium Care Center.  Grogg stops include:

St. Patty’s Day Delight at the Village of Baytowne Wharf

Celebrate the luck of the Irish at The Village of Baytowne Wharf a little Irish dancing. The Drake School of Irish Dance will be performing along with live jazz and blues music. All the fun begins at 6:00 p.m., also this Saturday.

“Sadly, the parade cannot take place this year. The logistics of the route, and compliance with Walton County permitting, coupled with the short time frame to get approval, proved to be too big a hill to climb,” according to a post on the event website.

Live from South Walton, it’s Thursday Night

There’s a new, fun beach party night in town and North Beach Tortilla Co., 24200 Hwy. 331 South in Santa Rosa Beach, is the host. Every Thursday night from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m., NBTC will welcome new artists to the beach to play live music for Thursday Night Live. Catalyst Duo will perform March 19 and Casey Kearney on March 26. Bring the whole family to hang on the beach, play beach games and enjoy food and drinks.

St. Patty’s Day Bash

Corpus Christi Catholic Church is again planning an evening to celebrate St. Patty’s Day with good food, great entertainment, fun music, and a sing-along from 5:30-9 p.m. March 14 at the church, 307 Beach Drive in Destin. Part of the proceeds will assist the church’s support of the homeless in Destin. A traditional Irish dinner is $15/person. The Carpenter Academy of Irish Dance will provide entertainment. St. Paddy’s Day Family Party

Celebrate the luck of the Irish at HarborWalk Village from 12-3 p.m. March 15 featuring a live performance from the Carpenter Academy of Irish Dance, kid’s crafts and a leprechaun treasure hunt. Register for a Pup of the Irish pet costume contest at 2 p.m. Cost of registration is $5 toward a featured charity or a bag of dry dog food. On-site parking is $10.

Silent Disco Party

Dance to your own beat during your spring break vacation with a silent disco experience at 7 p.m. every Monday from March 16 through April 6 in front of the Main Stage at HarborWalk Village. Headphones provided. On-site parking is $10.

Women in Wine Dinner

To celebrate Women’s History Month, Beach Walk Café will host a Women in Wine Dinner at 6 p.m. March 18, featuring the wineries’ female vintners.
