As tourism to our beautiful Emerald Coast grows, a new Comfort Inn will be built in Panama City Beach. Located on Griffin Blvd and U.S. Highway 98, construction is scheduled to start within the next couple of weeks.
The vice president of McNeil Carroll Engineering, Robert Carroll stated the 84 room hotel will take one year to build, opening early 2021. Quoting the News Herald, ”
…the project was linked to a local private developer who owns several hotels. “He hires an engineer and an architect, we develop the site plans and the architect develops the floor plans and elevations of the building,” Carroll said. “Then, we submit it to the city of Panama City Beach.”
