Supporting Our Fellow Floridians Affected by Hurricane Michael
The Nathan Abbott Team has partnered with Adventure 30A to raise funds to provide immediate relief for victims of Hurricane Michael. There are a lot of people who have requested to help. I can assure you that all funds will be used to directly help these people desperately in need. We are working with crews on the ground who are cutting trees away from people’s residences so they can get in and out of their properties. We are setting up a portable kitchen to feed the masses and are buying relief items. Some of the items we desperately need are packages of toilet paper, paper towels, Clorox, hand sanitizer, diapers, canned food items, sunscreen, hats and sunglasses, gift cards to Walmart, Lowes, or Home Depot, and Gatorade has been a big request too. We need all the help we can get and every bit helps. Any consideration would be greatly appreciated. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
We will be collecting items to donate to the hurricane victims of Michael at the Nathan Abbott Team office in Miramar Beach, Florida. If you are in the area and want to help, below is a list of most needed items for victims of Hurricane Michael in Panama City Beach, Mexico Beach, Port St. Joe and other areas affected by the hurricane.
Most Needed Items
- Beverages including bottled water, Gatorade/Powerade, caffeinated drinks, non-refrigerated milk
- Non-perishable food items including canned vegetables, canned meat, cereal, fruit and granola bars, ramen and easy-to-cook pasta, powdered milk, crackers
- Personal items including sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, first aid kits,
- Medicine including ibuprofen (Motrin/Advil), acetaminophen (Tylenol), hydrogen peroxide, rubbing alcohol
- Toiletries including toilet paper, toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss, mouthwash, deodorant, hair brushes, face wipes, shampoo, conditioner, soap, body wash
- Baby items including diapers, formula, medicine, wipes
- Coolers
- Backpacks and reusable bags
- Wet wipes, Lysol wipes, bleach
- Work gloves
- Large outdoor trash bags
- Flashlights
- Batteries
