Katie Street

Katie was born into a Military family at Altus AFB, Oklahoma. Before starting elementary school, her family moved back to her Mom’s hometown, Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Although she’s a Florida transplant at an early age, she has always considered herself a Florida Native.

For the past 21 years Katie has helped many pet family members working as a Veterinary Technician and briefly as a Client Service Supervisor. A majority of those years, was working in a fast paced Emergency Veterinary Clinic setting. She has always been a servant, hard worker, and loyal. She believes in integrity, honesty, and is a straight-shooter.

In 2006 she purchased her first home and was naturally drawn to the real estate process. The fascinating real estate market trends, interesting local history, and residential home searches kept her interests piqued ever since.

In 2018 she decided to take a leap of faith and enrolled in real estate associate school. Soon after she obtained her pre-license certificate, received her Florida real estate associate license, and gained her post-license too.

Katie is honored to join and be a part of the Abbott Team! The Team aligns with her Core and Community Business Values. Her local knowledge, and focus toward real estate will provide the freedom to do what she is most passionate about, educating, negotiating, and advocating for homebuyers and sellers. She appreciates the opportunity to be of service and has been known to hold her clients proverbial hand. She goes above and beyond, maintains high standards and work ethics. She’s dedicated to finding solutions, leading by example, removing as many stressors as possible, and helping others learn so they’re able to make educated real estate decisions.

When Katie isn’t making homeownership dreams come to life, she enjoys spending time building relationships, attending community events, boating, kayaking, trying new restaurants, hiking, traveling, and spending quality time with her husband Steven and Shih Tzu, Quincy.

Katie feels blessed to be shown her purpose in life, outside of the veterinary medicine setting and looks forward to helping others achieve their homeownership goals too. She’s grateful to do what she loves and excited to meet you and your family!
